Collective kitchen at the Ano-Kato Patision social space
On Monday 19 October 2026, the Ano-Kato Collective Kitchen is organising collective cooking, a shared meal and free food distribution at the Ano-Kato Patision Self-Managed Social Space in Athens. Participation is free, with an optional contribution.

According to the programme, collective cooking starts at 13:30 and the shared meal at 15:30. From 15:00, free portions of food prepared by the “El chef - Collective Kitchen” group in Exarchia will also be distributed.
An open assembly follows at 18:00 to discuss the following week’s menu and the allocation of money from the Mutual Aid Fund. According to the organisers, the fund supports the community’s urgent basic needs, with a maximum contribution of 50 euros at a time.
The gathering takes place at the social space, at the junction of 75 Naxou Street and Krassa Street, near the Koliatsou stop. Voluntary donations of money and ingredients, such as rice, pulses and pasta, are collected every Monday to keep the collective kitchen running.
