The a.antonopoulou.art gallery presents Irini Karayannopoulou's solo painting exhibition Golden Syndrome, curated by Efi Falida. The opening will take place on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 19:00 to 22:00, with free admission.
The exhibition Golden Syndrome, curated by Efi Falida, marks Irini Karayannopoulou's return to painting after a long period working with moving images, collage, drawing, altered prints and the possibilities of artificial intelligence.
The series begins with the idea of abundance and the search for a lost treasure; gems, gold jewellery and chains form wondrous objects, while accumulation becomes a persistent act of adding, reaching the limits of excess.
The opening will take place on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 19:00 to 22:00, at a.antonopoulou.art, 20 Aristofanous Street, Psyrri. Opening hours: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 14:00–20:00, and Saturday 12:00–16:00.
