The organisers describe the rally as opposing fascism and repression. According to the assembly, it concerns opposition to the permanent police presence on the hill and the commercialisation of the neighbourhood’s public spaces.
The organisers support preserving the hill and Exostrefis as spaces for meeting and collective activities without any obligation to make a purchase. They also refer to residents’ care for the hill through watering, clean-ups and collective activities.
The rally’s meeting point is Strefi Hill’s outdoor basketball court, and a march through the neighbourhood will follow. The calendar lists the event as running from 18:30 to 19:30.
