The Film Zone presents 69 films from 32 countries in thematic sections covering the environment, the digital age, queer identities, migration, memory and the rituals of Indigenous peoples. Screenings begin daily at 18:00 in the main hall, while the Video Art Zone runs in the foyer from 18:00 until midnight.
On Saturday, October 17, at 16:00, film critic Giannis Raouzaios presents an open workshop on the past, present and future of experimental cinema. On Sunday, October 18, also at 16:00, Smiljka Jovanović from Serbia holds a performance-lecture and participatory workshop on the body, intimacy, sexuality and the gaze. Both events are conducted in English.
The festival is organized by the Institute for Experimental Arts, with support from the Film Poetry Digital Archive. Admission is free, with a suggested contribution.
