Cooking together in solidarity in Thessaloniki’s Xirokrini
The Syn-trofiki Solidarity Kitchen is organising collective cooking and a shared meal on Saturday, 17 October 2026, from 12:00 to 13:00, in the park at Kallitheas Avenue and Syntagmatarchou Fryzi Street, at the Xirokrini street market. Participation is free, with optional contributions.

The Syn-trofiki Solidarity Kitchen is organising an open collective kitchen in western Thessaloniki. According to the organisers, its aim is mutual support in the face of poverty and exclusion, without discrimination based on race, gender or religion, through cooking together and sharing a meal.
The gathering on 17 October will take place from 12:00 to 13:00 in the park at the junction of Kallitheas Avenue and Syntagmatarchou Fryzi Street, at the Xirokrini street market. The collective cooking takes place every Saturday at 12:00.
