The Peristeri Left Movement has announced a demonstration against fascist violence. It cites the reported stabbing of an anti-fascist in Elefsina on 8 October, Nazi symbols drawn on the front of its meeting space on 5 October, and similar incidents at schools in the western suburbs as reasons for the demonstration.
The gathering is scheduled for Friday 16 October, from 19:00 to 20:00, in Peristeri Town Hall Square, at Peristeri metro station. Participation is free, with optional donations.
